The Reversed RAVA!!!
Well, this is the tragic story of a little girl. She happened to be the youngest at home. So being the little one, she was never allowed to go out alone, at least not on the main roads.. One day her mom asked her. 'Okay, where do you want to go out alone?' The little one spontaneously said.. I want to go buy something for you! I want to help you! Her mom was not so sure of it, but she had to give her little one a chance too. She had to buy 'RAVA' (Sooji) and gave her the exact amount for a kilo. Her mom repeated.. go ask for 'Rava 1 kilo.. okay?" She agreed.. her mom asked her to repeat.. what you going to ask for? Little one replied 'Rava -1 kg' promptly.. So she sped away.. hopping all the way .. chanting.. rava.. rava.. rava .. rava.. rava.. ra..va..ra..va..ra..va..ra..va.ra.va.ra. She reached the shop.. She asked with all the confidence in her voice.. 1 kg VARA please? The shopkeeper stared back at her.? She turned to the owner .. uncle vara 1 kg.. she repeated..VARA 1kg.. They all started laughing.. You cant get VARA here.. you will have to ask Lord Vishnu only.. Poor kid was confused.. She returned back home disappointed.. Her mom was not surprised.. But couldn't bear to see the disappointment in her child's face.. Mom asked her to repeat what she asked.. She said instantly 'VARA' only to realize that it was actually 'RAVA'. Before her mom could correct her, little one started giggling, aware of her mistake.. VARA meant 'BOON'.. Her mom and her sister too laughed. She heard her mom tell the story to her father at night and they all laughed.. She smiled and went to sleep. Her sister still repeats the story and pulls her leg.. :)
